We enjoy a very private location on a sparsely inhabited island, called Isla Boca Brava, just off the coast in the Gulf of Chiriquí near the fishing village of Boca Chica, Chriqui, Panama. The nearest airport is in the city of David, one hour, 15 minutes, from us by car.
From the moment you land in Panama we take care of you, with our people providing you with a royal VIP meet-and-greet service, so that you are sipping a beer while we clear immigration for you, collecting your luggage and accompanying you during your time in Panama City.
Getting to us involves: air, car, boat and funicular, you also have the option of a helicopter hop. We’ve seen to it that the whole journey is trouble free and comfortable, meeting you in Panama City with a VIP fast-track service, and personal meet-and-greet via our Panama City team. At David airport, we greet you with private transfer to the resort.
Panama City is your point of entry to Panama; an international city on the move with plenty of attractions to warrant a couple of days stopover. There are daily long-haul flights from multiple US and European cities to Tocumen International Airport (PTY).
* Return flights from David to Panama City are usually one hour after the incoming flight from Panama City.
Which option you choose depends on your time of arrival and whether you prefer to spend some time in Panama City. We advise you to double-check with us since flight schedules vary.
Royal VIP Meet and Greet Service has been appointed by us to ensure a truly royal welcome. With a hassle-free immigration fast-track service. You get to relax off your long flight while they track down your luggage, and then whisk you off to a waiting limousine.
Many of our guests prefer to spend a few days in Panama City, and we can arrange a tour service. If so then you have a few more options to get to David, using the more convenient Albrook airport closer to the city, where there are four flights before 10:00 and two afternoon flights before 16:00.
David International Airport was recently upgraded and flights from several US cities are planned to begin scheduled routes from 2016. We meet you at David airport in our comfortable SUVs for a 55-minute transfer to Boca Chica, where a waiting boat swiftly takes you across the narrow channel to Isla Boca Brava.
Alternatively we can provide a short helicopter hop (15 minutes, optional extra charges), and some guests even prefer the charming boat ride down the estuary from Pedregal in the southern reaches of the city, to reach us by speedboat (50 minutes, optional extra charges).
Once on our island your journey ends by riding our custom built funicular which takes you up and down the hill from marina to resort and back.
